I am a third-year undergraduate student in the Petroleum and Geosystem Engineering Department of the Cockrell School of Engineering. I was born in South Korea but moved to Mexico a long time ago, which makes me a person with a very international background speaking three languages (Korean, Spanish, and English). Through this experience of moving and living abroad, I cooperated with different personalities and studied and lived in different environments, gaining cross-cultural communication and fast adaptation skills. While studying in this field and getting intrigued by the oil and gas industry, I am also working as an undergraduate peer tutor for the Hildebrand Department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering. Through these experiences, I performed teamwork, leadership, and advising students. I gained strong oral and verbal communication skills, organization skills, and critical thinking. I am looking forward to gaining more connections and experience in the oil and gas industry as I am pursuing a bachelor's degree in petroleum engineering.
