With several years of experience in various industries, I have had the opportunity to develop a diverse set of skills and knowledge. My journey began as a co-founder of The Pickle, a hot chicken sandwich shop, where I was heavily involved in building the business from the ground up. This experience taught me the importance of determination and hard work, as well as the value of humility and self-awareness in the face of failure. I also gained a unique perspective on the nature of risk-taking and innovation, and how failure is an integral part of the entrepreneurial journey. After my experience with The Pickle, I took on an associate banker role at Chase. This allowed me to work with a diverse group of clients and assist them with their banking needs. I was able to develop my customer service and problem-solving skills, as well as my ability to work under pressure and multitask efficiently. Additionally, I was able to learn about the various financial products and services offered by the bank and how to best assist clients in making informed decisions. The most valuable thing that I learned while working at Chase, is the power of a smile, and how it can make a big impact in building relationships.Currently, as the CEO of VALID, I am dedicated to providing innovative solutions for product authentication and ownership verification. Utilizing advanced encryption and algorithms, we help businesses protect their products and deter theft while also providing peace of mind to consumers through the ability to prove ownership. I am passionate about staying at the forefront of these technologies and finding new ways to apply them to real-world challenges. I have always been driven to take on new challenges and learn new skills. This drive led me to start VALID, where I have been able to combine my passion for technology and my desire to make a positive impact on the world. I am proud of the work we have done so far, and I am excited to continue growing and evolving our company to better serve our clients and the broader community. I believe that with the right mindset and approach, we can make a real difference in the fight against fraud and counterfeiting, and I am committed to leading the charge.

The most valuable thing that I learned while working at Chase, and that's the power of a smile. A quote I would like to share with you is one that I wrote on my resignation letter, and it goes as so:While I have learned a lot of lessons while working here at Chase, the one that stands out to me the most, that I would like to share, is the power of a smile. I’ve seen customers from all walks of life come through the doors here at Chase. I’ve seen happy people, and I’ve seen angry, I’ve seen rich, and I’ve seen poor, but regardless of your background or your disposition, your mood or your manner, anyone can become a friend, when you approach with a smile. While working at Chase, I learned the power of a smile in building relationships with customers. It's a small gesture but it can make a big impact. It's a valuable lesson that I will always carry with me and strive to apply in all my interactions, both professionally and personally. I am grateful for this experience and the people I met along the way. Show less -

The process of building the business from the ground up, from menu development to securing funding to growing our team, was a constant learning experience. It was not easy and there were many challenges and obstacles we had to face, but we overcame them through hard work and determination. However, despite our successes, the business was ultimately unable to sustain itself due to internal failures. Reflecting on this experience, I have come to understand that failure is an inevitable and inescapable part of the entrepreneurial process. But it is also an opportunity for growth and progress. As a co-founder, I have learned the value of humility and self-awareness in the face of failure. Recognizing that our internal failures were a result of a combination of factors, including poor decision-making and lack of communication, has helped me identify areas for personal and professional development. This experience has also given me a unique perspective on the nature of risk-taking and innovation. Starting a business is inherently risky, and being able to accept and learn from failure is a crucial quality for any entrepreneur. Failure is not only a chance to improve, but it is also a necessary step towards success.I am grateful for the opportunity to have been part of such a great team and for the valuable skills and experience I gained. Starting a business is a challenging but rewarding experience, that has taught me that failure is not something to be feared, but rather embraced as a natural and integral part of the entrepreneurial journey.
