Continuum Health Group is a policy consulting group focused on improving our nation’s public health. Through partnerships with public and private sector organizations, we support efforts to achieve health equity with policy analysis, advocacy development, and political strategy.

Served as the client facing technical expert for the Shared Savings Program ACO application reviewer trainings for over 70 personnel including LMI, CMS, and subcontractor staff. Functions included managing a team to develop schedules, the training curriculum, and communications for the Shared Savings Program ACOs. Served as the client facing technical expert for the Shared Savings Program Notice of Intent to Apply (NOIA) process. Functions included developing NOIA survey content, processing NOIA survey data and delivering reports to CMS leadership, and communications for Shared Savings Program ACOs. Completed and supported additional tasks such as Shared Savings Program ACO application and participant agreement reviews, reports, standard operating procedure development, and managing and processing issues from ACOs or the general public’s questions regarding the Shared Savings Program. Co-led the Logistical Pathways to Critical Diversity in Organizational Leadership academic partnership between UVA and LMI. Managed budget, oversees monthly status updates and ensured that all deadlines were met. This project was focused on understanding the factors that influence academic achievement differentials between engineering students from different demographic groups.

Advised quality improvement organizations on health disparities associated with chronic disease and associated comorbidities, adverse drug events, and access to care within Medicare. Analyzed and presented Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System data and Medicare claims data to provide quality improvement organizations information about chronic disease disparities among their Medicare Beneficiaries. Drafted reports, white papers, and manuscripts for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, quality improvement organizations, and other key stakeholders. Oversaw two national focus groups on behavioral health and data disparities.

Advised Yale undergraduates interested in pursuing medical school, dental school, veterinary school, nursing school, and other health professional schools. Developed presentations and workshops to prepare students to feel comfortable engaging their faculty for letters of recommendation. Edited and reviewed over 300+ personal statements. Managed the annual health professions fair that brought over 60+ institutions and 300+ college students together.

Developed a molecular based epidemiological tool to track Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus. Tested patient nasal swaps for whooping cough and reported results to local health departments. Presented technical reports to public health personnel in North Carolina.
