Growing up, I spent much of my time in front of a chalkboard easel teaching the letters of the alphabet to my Cabbage Patch dolls because I found fulfillment in sharing knowledge and experience with others. In retrospect, after 20 years in education, not much has changed. Sure, the letters of the alphabet have been replaced with innovative classroom instructional strategies, but the fulfillment of sharing the amazing things happening in my own classroom with others to reach hundreds more students remains the same.
