As a seasoned photographer, filmmaker, and entrepreneur, I've spent the last decade honing my craft in visual storytelling. My expertise spans photography (weddings, corporate events, portraits, food and architecture), filmmaking (screenwriting, direction, cinematography, and production), and branding (social media campaigns, website design, and brand design). I've co-founded a media and production company; Weddings by Digital Stories and led a team of 20 photographers, cinematographers and editors, driving creative excellence and flawless execution of 500+ weddings and 10,000+ events all over the world for 8 years. Throughout my career, I have actively sought out opportunities to showcase my work and have been honored with several prestigious awards and recognitions. In 2017, I was featured as one of the top 100 photographers in India, a testament to my dedication to my craft. Additionally, I was awarded editor's choice 3 times in MyWed, a recognition of my expertise in visual storytelling.My documentary photography has also been showcased in various exhibitions and publications. In 2017, I exhibited my work in "Project Overload" at the Indian Photography Festival, a platform that highlights the best in documentary photography. The following year, my documentary photography was published in "The Week", a leading news magazine, in two separate features titled "Days of Darkness" and "Behind the Bars".My work in filmmaking has also received recognition. In 2023, my film "Neelakanta Bar" was nominated for best film on Shorted, a prestigious online platform for short films. Furthermore, I won the best cinematographer award at the Infocus short film festival in 2015 for my work on "BTK", a testament to my skill and expertise in filmmaking.These awards and recognitions are a testament to my hard work and dedication to my craft, and I continue to strive for excellence in all my endeavors.When I'm not making films, you can find me in the kitchen, whipping up a storm as a part-time chef on Cookin' (Spice Lab) with a perfect 5-star rating for all my orders!
