I work within a team to help provide full-time, flexible part-time work, part-time internships, and summer opportunities to students at the University of Leeds while liaising them with potential and prospective employers. Understanding the needs of the employers, I provide valuable input and effectively handle the recruitment process by shortlisting and interviewing candidates for various roles spread across various fields and levels, frequently. I look after the majority of the hospitality and catering side of the business by providing staff to our big customers like - First Direct Arena, Leeds United Stadium, CGC Catering, Refectory, Homegrown Catering, Beckett Hive Bar, University of Leeds, the Leeds University Union and others. Due to our strong and ongoing relationship with the clients, we must build trust and provide quality, which is one of the core decisions I make. As a part of Leeds University Union, our mission is simple. We’re here to make sure students love their time at Leeds. Keeping in mind, I streamline the development and implementation of the department’s plan, keeping abreast of progress toward all Strategic Plan goals.

I was responsible for developing and implementing the department’s plan of optimising the returns from LUU Retail Services.I monitored operational procedures, like cash handling and security, which were always followed to meet standards. It involved working at the tills and ASTs; self-service kiosks, and ensuring the customers paid and were charged fairly.I provided high end customer service to the customers who came to the store while liaising with suppliers to ensure on time delivery and stock management.

My core tasks involved speaking and advising prospective parents and students,about the business schools' undergraduate and postgraduate program and the professional career that waited for them thereafter. Established contacts by communicating with students from various backgrounds in order to give insight into university life by engaging in business school open days, virtual events, admissions, and marketing activities for upcoming students.To provide paid opportunities to students, we hired around 120 ambassadors over the course of 1 year for more than 300 courses in business school. I oversaw and interviewed current UG/PG students for the position.

Provided learning pedagogy advice to parents and students.Explained the process of learning using Byju’s (India’s fastest-growing EdTech Company) and got them signed up for Byju’s - The Learning App.Targeted sales also offered customer services by answering consumer questions and negotiating purchase prices.

Initiated & created the College's First Interdepartmental Magazine under the Management Department called ASPIRE - TO INSPIRE. Interviewed various students for the 12 positions under Editorial Team with the Head of the Department of Management.Along with being responsible for all the promotions and planning of the magazine, I was working as the Design Head and solely managed to develop the first print with help of professionals.

The company recruited me on my university's pre-placement offer after competing against 650 other students for one of the two vacancies.My role included prospective counselling of applicants for Postgraduate Diploma, Executive MBA, Certification courses for the #1 ranked university for distance education (Narsee Monjee, Mumbai) and getting them admitted to the program via cold calling, direct meetings, and emails.I was the key contact between the university and the 75+ mature students (registered over various courses) by providing them with all the significant information about classes, study material, exams, and fees during their program whilst they were working. As my contribution during the initial months of COVID-19, I exceeded the sales target by 175% and by 150% for two months in a row generating 35% more business for the company. I supervised and trained MBA interns to assist them with their goals and escalate the company's growth.

Analyzed and performed various activities with the marketing team in many marketing and promotional events by reaching out to new businesses.Bridged negotiation with stakeholders.Dealt with current and potential consumers by offering them competitive deals.
