As part of my degree at MMU Business School, I completed my placement year in the IT department of one of the world’s largest food manufacturers.The first half of my placement was spent supporting the Project Management office; I was involved with the launch of web-based training materials to raise awareness of and support the IT Project Management process, being responsible for liaising with the third party developers to review the prototypes and devise improvements. The second half of my placement was with the Change Management department, where duties included responding to telephone and email queries, logging change requests into a computer system and generating status reports.
