A recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Taylor’s University and Economics from the University of the West of England. Hard work and perseverance are key aspects of defining who I am. I developed this early on in my life as a Taekwondo player. I realized that I shouldn’t let my physical limit (i.e., height, weight, and strength) be my constraint. To overcome my physical limitations, I put in extra effort and prioritized sharpening my skills and improving my stamina to help me last through all three rounds of the match while being fit and skillful enough to fight opponents of a bigger size. I carry this mindset with me in the other aspects of my life such as my education. I have developed a habit to spend approximately 30 additional hours per week revising all covered topics and prepare for classes. I focus on doing the best I can on the things I have control over as my greatest fear is failing while knowing that I could have tried harder. During my degree, I discovered more about finance and developed a strong interest, particularly in macroeconomics and the financial markets. Interning at a wealth management company has allowed me to peek into the financial services sector. I have developed a fundamental knowledge of financial planning during my time there and understood the importance of building our wealth. As a recent graduate, a prioritized long-term goal of mine is to develop a career in the banking industry. I am confident that my skillset, competitive attitude, attention to detail, and my passion for success will contribute to achieving my career goals. I value integrity, continuous growth, and diversity. I am currently seeking a new job opportunity in the banking industry.
