A committed and seasoned Project Manager, I have over 25 years’ experience leading teams to deliver major projects and programs within the energy and oil & gas sectors. I am currently operating in two roles. The first being the Project Director for Aran Australia where I am responsible for all projects and the second: Emerging Energy Project Manager and Consultant with 2 agencies, MiiWorld Technologies and TVG & Associates. I have led multi-million $ projects, while focusing on mitigating risks, high HSE standards and delivering sound, viable options. I have rescued projects, handled transitions and have contributed to defining & implementing strategic vision, plans and policies. Previously I functioned as a Project Manager in varying capacities with large organisations such as Linc Energy and Sasol Technology. I led a critical project - developing & building a demonstration plant for the Underground Coal Gasification (UCG) technology as part of Linc's commercialisation process. A key strength is my ability to provide engaging leadership to build successful and collaborative teams known for innovative, practical approaches, and ‘can do’ attitudes. I am a trusted advisor; projecting credibility and thought leadership, I have experience providing high level specialist policy and operational advice and direction to Executive and Senior Management.Selected key achievements include:⇨ Rescuing a project & completing the construction of a PP2 facility⇨ Preparing the concept report for India Coal to Liquids Project – a Sasol and Tata JV⇨ Overseeing management of the Sasol-Chevron licensor scope on the Escravos Gas to Liquids JV⇨ Formulating a complete business plan for the Tanzania Port AuthorityMotivated by Einstein’s quote, “the definition of insanity is continuing to do the same things over and over again and expecting different results”, I strive for excellence and instil the same in my team.I am looking forward to expanding my LinkedIn network.
