I grew up within an underground sea of live music, travel, sprawling streets and neon lights; all of my time spent lost in online worlds built on community, content and infinite space for connection. My Career began as a project manager for Cartoon Network Amazone waterpark in Thailand, managing the marketing team at 16TWO as we drove up park attendance through customer loyalty programs, ticket sales and UGC campaigns. Returning to Canada, my love of video games drew me to investigate human motivational drivers, and how that intrinsic/extrinsic drive can translate into marketing and sales through 'Gamification' through the Octalysis Framework (pioneered by Yu-kai Chou). I've since studied and executed content and community strategy, running marketing campaigns and leading projects for other companies like the UNIFY network, VEME and Creation, as well as for individual influencers as a freelancer in my spare time.Now, I work in-depth with Creation to bring the magic of community and AI technology together, raising $1,000,000+ and working with an incredible team originating from companies like Epic Games, Sony/Amazon and Empact Labs to deliver powerful, next-gen software to the masses. Our current venture is simple: Bring mass-education on practical AI usage to entrepreneurs and freelance professionals who need it the most, through our platform Creation Academy. To empower the 'ordinary' to become creators, and for creators to become SUPER creators is why I do what I do. I'm here to create spaces of safety, co-creation and magic, powered by technology and fueled by a love for people and human connection. In these liminal spaces of 'creation', it's the otherwise 'ordinary' that transcend our expectations, and create the miracle that is partially seen in 'meme' culture.
