• Gather news content for general assignment or breaking news or sports stories, using a broadcast field camera as well as other cameras and devices. • Operate non-linear edit systems (Edius, Adobe Creative Cloud)• Produce original content on-air and on all digital platforms that evoke emotion and tell compelling stories• Use creative production techniques such as graphics and new forms of media (viewer pictures, webcam interviews, etc.) to enhance stories• Cover breaking news, general assignment, sports, feature, investigative, and political news stories. • Come up with sports article ideas and other content for our school sports website• Type up “Opponent Previews” for opposing sports teams that South Dakota State would be facing during that week • Assist my co-workers and supervisors on “gameday” for an array of sports events, when called upon.• Have flexible hours; job required a lot of late nights and early mornings• Assist ESPN when they came to our school in their production truck with the on-screen graphics for an important football game.
