I am currently an Associate Physician at Toetal Podiatry. I recently completed a three year Residency in Podiatric Medicine & Surgery with specialization in Reconstructive Rearfoot & Ankle Surgery from Lenox Hill Hospital- Northwell Health. At Lenox Hill, I served as Chief Resident. My Residency at Lenox Hill has helped me gain comprehensive training in foot and ankle reconstruction, trauma, wound care and limb salvage. I have also participated in numerous courses for advanced surgical techniques, including foot and ankle arthroscopy and Minimal Incision Surgery. I have a particular interest in cosmetic surgery of the foot in addition to Sports Medicine related pathologies, and reconstructive forefoot surgeries. In addition to my interests in Medicine, I also try to stay involved with the South Asian community. I am presently an Anchor for a health show on channel IBTV USA called “Health and Happiness.” This show serves to educate the Bangladeshi Community in Health and Medicine. I enjoy fashion, traveling and spending time with my two daughters, family and friends. My goal is to make innovative advancements in Podiatric Medicine and help this specialty become better recognized in the medical field.
