So when my teams obsess over the accuracy of system that tracks criminal history, they believe their work help make society safer. It is beyond working on cutting edge technology. It is knowing how your work impacts customer's life. My constant endeavour was to help my teams view their work from that vantage point.- Going beyond Delivery Excellence is to add value to customer. The culture is key. I built innovation culture that encourages teams to contribute improvement ideas willingly. Recognition matters. There is no fear of failure as it is not looked down upon. End result: a customer who recognises the value.- Teams that are cared for go beyond the call of duty to achieve success. We provided opportunities to improve their skills and grow. I ensured that good performers were recognised and differentiated. I invested time in supporting and mentoring them. In our open house sessions teams could ask questions anonymously via a 'question box'.
