As the Head of Finance Operations for IndiaQuotient, I hold a crucial and multifaceted position in driving the financial success and operational efficiency of the organization. In this role, I am responsible for overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and optimizing financial processes.Our team works on the preparation and maintenance of accurate and timely financial statements. This involves meticulously organizing financial data, analyzing financial performance, and presenting clear and comprehensive reports to stakeholders. By maintaining the financial health of the organization through robust reporting, we facilitate informed decision-making and provide essential insights for strategic planning.In addition, we play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with various statutory regulations, including Income Tax, GST, RBI/FEMA, and the Companies Act. We collaborate closely with auditors to facilitate smooth and efficient audits, ensuring accurate and transparent financial reporting. We conduct comprehensive internal audits to identify areas for improvement and implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.Previously, I served as the head of India Finance Operations, where my responsibilities encompassed a wide range of tasks, with a strong focus on financial statement preparation and maintenance. We ensured compliance with statutory regulations, including those related to Income Tax, GST, RBI/FEMA, and the Companies Act. Additionally, I handled audits to guarantee financial accuracy and transparency.During my tenure, I actively engaged in cross-functional collaboration with teams in Legal, IT, HR, and Operations. This collaboration involved drafting and reviewing various legal documents and contracts, performing reconciliations for network data, effectively managing company assets, and contributing to restructuring efforts.Prior to that, I gained valuable experience working in a Business Finance role at Infosys. In this capacity, I provided valuable financial support to the business by managing funds, offering financial insights, and identifying opportunities to control costs and maximize margins. My responsibilities included budgeting, forecasting, and account preparation, allowing me to develop a strong foundation in financial management and analysis.
