I love deconstructing problems and hands-on work. My background in semiconductor manufacturing and nanoscale engineering led me to wonder - what is beyond binary logic devices using silicon? The focus of my work is on proximity-induced superconductivity in graphene using a high-temperature superconductor. I am excited by topologically protected superconducting devices for quantum computing. I write code to run calculations, analyze data (python), and control instruments (LabVIEW). Assembling stacks of 2D materials, e-beam lithography & photolithography, dry/wet etching, metal deposition, and nanoprobing in an SEM are some common techniques I use to fabricate my devices. In specs of free time, I play guitar and enjoy sci-fi movies. During the warmer months, I like spending time outdoors.
