We strongly believe that resources should be used and shared responsibly. Thus, instead of wasting a valuable resource like plastic, we want to divert it from landfills and keep it in the economy by converting it into filaments.​A million bottles are bought around the world every minute and only 7% of them are collected and turned into new bottles, and the rest end up in landfill sites or the ocean. A kilogram of our recycled filaments can diverge 76 post-consumption plastic bottles going into the landfill for the next 500 years.​In the current filament market, more than 90% of 3D printing filaments are made from virgin plastics and each year 4% (1.3 billion barrels) of the world's oil is used to make virgin plastics. As a sustainability advisor at Stylecraft Limited, I provide expert guidance on sustainable development in apparel manufacturing. This includes analyzing current practices, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending strategies to minimize environmental impact while maintaining operational efficiency.I actively work on waste reduction by redesigning discarded materials into new collections. Through innovative approaches and techniques, I repurpose and upcycle materials, reducing the overall waste footprint of the company.I identify and propose sustainable practices for integration into Stylecraft Limited's operations. This involves adopting eco-friendly materials, implementing energy-efficient technologies, optimizing water usage, and promoting responsible waste management throughout the manufacturing process.Collaboration with stakeholders, including management, production teams, and suppliers, is a key aspect of my role. This helped to ensure the end line audit is carried out without negligence.
