Hello welcome. My name is Shara Wright and I am currently an undergraduate student at the University at Buffalo. I am finishing my senior year in their Exercise Science Professional Program with a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a concentration in Pre-Health. I am currently preparing for the next step towards my professional career. This means I can take all the knowledge,hard work and experiences that I have gained from undergrad and apply it to other areas. From a very young age I have also known that I have wanted to be a healthcare provider of so kind, and I am trying to make that dream a reality. I started my college career with the intention of pursuing a career in Physical Therapy but it was not long until I considered a change. After taking courses such as Medical Sociology and Sociology of Diversity, my need to make sure that people of different socioeconomic status has only grew stronger. To say that I want and am eager to help make a difference would be an understatement. But there are so many different directions one can go in, and every direction has a different impact. something missing that I wanted in my career. Ultimately, nursing seems to be the career path for me, but one thing college has taught is to keep an open mind. As time continues, I only become more and more excited with every step, to get out and help change lives. My next step into a nursing program will be the transition I need into my career, with both the application and gathering of knowledge and hard work.
