About Shardul Rao
Currently working on various programs under the umbrella initiative NIDHI - National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations, for supporting tech based startups across the country. I'm engaged in managing DST’s flagship program for supporting Technology Business Incubators (TBIs) and Centre of Excellence (CoEs) across the country. I'm also included in formulation of the various new programs which would focus on enhancing and supporting startups and TBIs all over the country. Through the NIDHI programs, I've been instrumental in extending and managing active support to around 40 NIDHI-TBIs from across the country, taking the total count of DST supported incubators to more than 175. Through the incubator network, DST has been able to support more than 12,000 startups across the country. My research interest areas include Green Hydrogen and Clean Energy. Currently, I'm also pursuing research on thermal analysis of Hydrogen PEM Fuel Cells.
