Sharee L. Ellis-Young is Community Outreach Supervisor with Arkansas Health & Wellness, Centene Corporation. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies and her Master’s degree in Social Work with an emphasis in Planning and Administration; both from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She also holds an Arkansas license to practice social work. Sharee has over 15 years in program management, direct social work practice and higher education experience combined. She is a strategic and effective leader with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and extensive experience working successfully with diverse populations. Sharee is a committed champion of lifelong learning, education revitalization, closing the achievement gap, and equipping individuals to eradicate the stronghold of poverty in their lives.
