I am a 17-year Gainesville inhabitant with 14 years of marketing and communications experience in the non-profit, business and governmental sector with a specific focus on increasing brand visibility, building strategic relationships with the media and serving the business community. Currently, I work as a Branch Marketing Coordinator at ATM, a Geosyntec company.I graduated from the University of Florida with a MS in Entrepreneurship and also earned a BS in Public Relations with minors in Leadership, Organizational Leadership for Nonprofits and Family, Youth and Community Sciences. I have a strong proclivity for strategic planning, research, project management, creative graphic/web design and photography. Previously, I served as the Public Relations Committee Chair of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated's Delta Sigma Zeta Chapter, as the Director of Public Relations of Joshua Joel SMA Life, Inc., and in multiple leadership roles with Alachua County Emerging Leaders, one of which as a 2014-2015 Director-at-Large. As the 2012-2014 Chair of the Community Relations Committee, I built relationships with local charities – most notably by leading the planning and execution of ACEL’s 7th and 8th Annual Champions for Charity Kickball Tournament, which raised more than $21,000 for local charities.Currently, I spend my time serving as the President and Cofounder of DREAM on Purpose, an empowerment movement for young girls, and the Committee Chair of the Youth Auxiliaries for Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, specifically the Delta Sigma Zeta Chapter.
