With over 25 years of experience in the Internet/Data and FinTech/InsurTech sectors, I have consistently demonstrated my abilities as a visionary leader and strategist, driving digital transformation and innovation for businesses and communities. One of my key strategies is leveraging technology to enhance human experiences.I began my entrepreneurial journey in the mid-1990s while I was studying at the prestigious business school of the country, Institute of Business Administration, (IBA). Together, we established a computer assembly and sales business. In 2001, I had the opportunity to negotiate the sale of our company to an ISP, Access Telecom Limited, where I was trusted by my partners to lead the negotiation.In 2003, I joined a small family-owned ISP and FinTech business and served as the Chief Operating Officer. Over the course of 15 years, my team successfully transformed these small firms into publicly listed companies with a combined market cap exceeding US$100 million. During my tenure as Director and Chief Strategy Officer at Dotlines, I gained valuable exposure to the InsurTech industry and developed a deep understanding of the small-ticket revenue model.Currently, as the CEO of the first and only internationally recognized Tier-III data center in Bangladesh, I alongwith my team could successfully attract more than 10 banks within one year and achieved profitability by utilizing only 40% of the asset. This accomplishment has earned me a strong reputation in the industry. Additionally, I hold the position of Chief Strategy Officer at Fiber@Home Ltd., the country's leading NTTN.In addition to being an alumnus of two highly esteemed schools in the country, I also have the privilege of serving in leadership positions within the alumni network.
