I am a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist where I have been nurturing my passion for helping individuals communicate effectively.Background: I was born and raised in a close-knit community that instilled in me the values of empathy and compassion. Growing up with younger brothers who have autism, I experienced firsthand the unique challenges they faced. These experiences not only shaped my understanding of neurodiversity but also inspired me to pursue a career in speech pathology to help others like them lead fulfilling lives.Education: My academic journey has been an enriching one. I enrolled in the Bachelor of Speech Pathology program at Southern Cross University, where I've had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of speech and language disorders. Through rigorous coursework and hands-on practical experiences, I have honed my skills in assessment, intervention, and therapy techniques.Professional Experience: While pursuing my degree, I was also working as a full-time disability support worker. This role has provided me with invaluable insights into the daily lives of individuals with disabilities, fostering my ability to connect with and understand their needs deeply.
