As the director of the Iowa Nurses Foundation, I oversee the operations and fund development of a non-profit organization that supports the nursing profession and education in Iowa. I have a master's degree in nursing with a specialization in acute care nurse practitioner from Walden University, and a bachelor's degree in nursing science from Aspen University. I have more than four years of work experience in the health care sector, including as the owner of CR Infusion Specialists, a company that provides infusion therapy services to patients in rural areas. I have skills in operations, non-profit fund development, fundraising, and acute care. I am passionate about improving the quality and accessibility of health care for underserved communities, and advancing the nursing field through research and education.
