At Chemours, I led the charge for digital transformation in our manufacturing plants. Working with the plants to identify unique opportunities and problems to be solved, I also developed a comprehensive manufacturing 4.0 strategy, that included the business case for change. A key component is upskilling the workforce to use different digital tools and technology to better monitor, measure and control our chemical processes. Working with cross functional teams to modernize our approach to operations, including environmental, health and safety, I make Industry 4.0 easier to understand.As the Plant Manager at Arkema, I led a team of 60 employees in the production of specialty chemicals for various industries. I leveraged my Executive MBA and Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering to oversee all aspects of plant operations, including safety, quality, efficiency, and profitability. I am a change agent and a leadership coach, with a passion for operational excellence, lean manufacturing, and supply chain transformation. I have implemented multiple Lean Six Sigma projects, saving over $10 million and improving key performance indicators. I have also fostered a culture of innovation and employee engagement, resulting in being a finalist for the Arkema Arena Award for new product and process development. My mission was to drive performance and innovation at Arkema, while developing the next generation of leaders in the manufacturing sector.
