About Shari Perry

As a lifelong special educator, I’ve dedicated myself to advocating for students and their families by facilitating communication between the school system and various stakeholders. Simply put, I am a liaison between students, their families, school staff, and community support agencies. The COVID-19 pandemic brought about a unique set of challenges in the educational consulting space. As a mother, I’ve seen the impact both at home and at work. I feel driven to do more for families caught in this confusing maze. As an educational advocate, I use my 30 years of experience to help families navigate complicated school systems, and collaboratively develop structured plans of support for their children. Oftentimes, the school system's inherent roadblocks are overwhelming. Families do not feel heard nor know how to advocate for their child. Given my extensive history of working within a large school system, and the barriers it can create, I act as a conduit for families and strive to meet their children’s evolving academic and social-emotional needs. My dedication for advocacy and expertise in various parts of the educational field enables me to provide a comprehensive, structured plan of support customized to meet both the academic and social-emotional needs of our clients.
