✪  PAYROLL AND TIMEKEEPING | Proposed and successfully moved payroll from manually entered Excel spreadsheets to an online payroll and TLM system. This saved employees 2 to 3 hours every pay period and saved up to 5 hours of payroll processing time while increasing accuracy of the reported information. It was well received by everyone involved. ✪  TAX CREDITS | The TLM (Time Labor Management) system also allowed the required labor and benefits reporting, along with all R&D and GL expenditure reports, to the company’s CPA firm for processing annual tax credits. The payroll and general ledger reports are now processed in 3 to 4 hours instead of 3 days. ✪  OPEN ENROLLMENT | Moved the annual benefits open enrollment from a 2-month long manually intensive paper-based system to an online platform. The entire activity, including enrollment period and full reconciliation, was reduced to 3 weeks.✪  ACCOUNTS PAYABLE / EXPENSES | Implemented multi-dimension fields for AP and expense processing that provided senior management with real-time, customizable, profitability and production reporting. This eliminated the need for complex reclassification calculations and entry adjustments, easily saving 8 to 10 hours of work at each month-end closeout. ✪  RECONCILIATION | Assigned to a project where the AP Manager had left the company, and their replacement hadn’t reconciled AP in 3 years. Given a 6-week contract to reconcile AP, and completed the reconciliation in 10 business days.✪  GENERAL LEDGER | Tasked by company president to move from a small business platform to a more robust mid-to-large business accounting platform in 8 months. Partnered with head of software engineering and consulting firm; intense focus on set-up, data entry, conversion, reconciliation and testing resulted in successfully going live a month and half earlier than scheduled.
