American Structural Engineering (ASE) is a New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut-based certified MBE/DBE/SBE firm, that specializes in Bridge Inspection, Resident Engineering, and Construction Inspection services on a variety of transportation projects.ASE provides full bridge evaluation, inspection, and rating services on a wide variety of highway, railroad, and movable structures for both the private and public sectors. This includes the evaluation, inspection, and rating of structures ranging from single-span bridges to major long-span bridges and various other structures including but not limited to sign structures, high mast light towers, and antenna towers.

• Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines• Prepare in-office support for field inspections, such as planning and scheduling field operation and development of inspection documentation forms prior to fieldwork.• Perform field inspection duties and subsequent inspection reports in compliance with Client Requirements.• Writing inspection reports, preparing all the necessary forms for the report, flag preparation, and finishing report/flag in BDIS as well as updating inventory in BDIS• Coordinate teams and equipment• Enforce safe field operations

• Actively involved with the bridge inspection team, construction inspection team, ancillary inspection team and analyzed highway bridges for flags and load rating• Analyzed highway bridges with approved software and hand calculations to determine load ratings for design, legal, and permit vehicles using all available plans, inspection reports, and prior ratings• Provided technical advice regarding the structural behavior of bridges to direct inspectors to critical locations or evaluate the severity of member section losses

• Parametric study on single and multiple spans bridges with a span range from 10 feet to 200 feet• Computer models that determine the ratio of the maximum moment and shear effects due to ODOT legal loads and the SHV loads for single and multiple span bridges• Summarized results in a report and provided to ODOT to present it to FHWA which includes spreadsheet, tables, figures and charts of the rating results

• Tested the hypothesis that Ohio bridges with a span of less than 200 feet and current RF ≥ 1.35 (Group A), based on Ohio legal loads, will not require load posting for SHVs through load rating of existing Ohio bridges• The University Research Team (URT): The University of Toledo, the Ohio University and the University of Cincinnati.

• Spring 2016- Teaching Assistant with Dr. Cyndee L. Gruden for the course CIVE 1150- Engineering Mechanics: Statics. The class was comprised of around 120 students from Civil, Mechanical and Chemical Engineering. The primary responsibility were solving and discussing problems along with the professor, conducting class if necessary, holding office hours including one to one interaction with the students, proctoring and grading. Received 'Outstanding Teaching Assistant' award at the end of the semester. • Summer 2016- Teaching Assistant with Dr. Douglas K. Nims for the course CIVE 1150- Engineering Mechanics: Statics. Primary responsibilities were holding office hours, conducting problem sessions, grading and proctoring.•Fall2017- Teaching Assistant with Dr. Alex Spivak for the course CIVE1150- Engineering Mechanics: Statics. Primary responsibilities were holding office hours, proctoring and grading.• Spring 2017- Teaching Assistant with Dr. Eddie Y. Chou for the course CIVE 3120- CE System Analysis. Primary responsibilities were holding office hours, conducting problem sessions, proctoring and grading.

• Actively communicated with University of Toledo Alumnus (UT) to update their record• Communicated with the UT alumnus to get donations and gifts for various funds which are being used to provide scholarships to students, improve library resources, classroom equipment etc.

• Scheduled, managed and maintained the daily activities including but not limited to note-taking activities, proctoring, training and helping out new students

• Conducted GRE and TOEFL classes as well as seminars on the higher study, prepared notes, and advised the higher study aspirants
