I oversee Money Services Business licensees for any suspicious activities that may link to possible financial crimes by using data analytics and artificial intelligence techniques. I also cover the payment industry in Malaysia -- mostly looking into emerging risks pertaining to new technology developments associated with the industry. Previously, I was a Data Analyst at Etiqa Insurance Singapore focusing on driving commercial results through analytics and campaign studies. Tools used were Python, Microsoft SQL, Qlik Sense and Google Analytics.Prior to Etiqa, I worked as a Data Scientist at The Center of Applied Data Science (CADS) where I ran corporate training in Data Science courses (Deep Learning, Statistics and Data Storytelling to name a few) and worked with internal and the company's partners to gain actionable insights through data clean-up and data visualisation (Tableau and Python’s Matplotlib).Before getting into the workforce, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA with a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics with an application in Actuarial Science. In July 2022, I completed my Master's degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Malaya. I am currently pursuing my second Master's degree in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA part-time and remotely.In my free time, I’d love to hang out with friends, watch movies and travel to new places (when possible, thanks to COVID).
