Eurus Energy Europe, part of the Japanese Toyota Group, develops, invests in and operates renewable energy projects, i.e., onshore wind, hydrogen and photovoltaic projects in Europe. As a Senior Legal Counsel, I gained experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating of a broad variety of commercial contracts regarding project finance, loan documentation, construction, energy sector specific contracts (e.g., cable pooling, turbine supply, maintenance, land leases, power purchase etc.) and liaising with and managing outside counsels. I also gained experience with tenders and FIDIC, and was in the lead for national & international M&A transactions. Moreover, I was responsible for corporate housekeeping, entity management and handling (potential) claims, disputes and litigation for 30+ subsidiaries in the EMEA region.
