Well known for providing experienced and trained Security, Stewards, Front of House Staff, the company also delivers security consultation and event security planning services and has a dedicated Health and Safety business with includes event safety services and dedicated floor managers.

This company runs a 400 seater Catamaran to the Great Barrier Reef for day tours. I was employed in 3 different roles that would alternate according to a roster. This was a full time position that often resulted in up to 56 hr/wk.REEF BIOLOGIST, DIVE INSTRUCTOR and LIFEGUARDSelf managed position (as Reef Biologist), Team Orientated (Dive Staff).Responsible for individuals safety on board and at the reefFirst responder to incidents, lifeguard dutiesDive briefings for student, introductory divers, certified divers and snorkelers.Organize set tasks around personalized snorkel tours, which are to be marketed and sold on board the boat.Presentations in front of up to 300 guests (reef talks, marketing tours and safety orientations).Personalized face-to-face selling with guests.Conducting private and informative snorkel tours and organizing them around other Reef Biologist duties Sales duties (directly to agents as well as to on board customers).

Tusa Dive has been taking divers and snorkellers to the reef since 1986. Tusa Dive has access to 16 unique sites on the outer Great Barrier Reef. Day trips cruise to two selected outer reef locations and provides the opportunity to participate in snorkelling, ‘introductory’ diving, and certified diving. Tusa Dive also offers a free guided snorkel tour and marine interpretation presentation.Tusa Dive is affiliated with: Tusa Dive (day tour reef boat,) Tusa Dive Shop, The Spirit of Freedom (high end live-aboard dive boat) and Head Office. Captain Cook Cruises operated The Reef Endeavour out of Cairns. It was a 73 meter small cruise ship operating cruises throughout the Hinchinbrook Channel, The Great Barrier Reef, Cape York and up to Thursday Island.

Spirit of Freedom is one of Australia’s most comfortable and well appointed liveaboard dive vessels. At 37 metres in length, they run specialty scuba dive tours of 3, 4 and 7 day duration depart out of Cairns to iconic dive sites such as the Cod Hole, Ribbon Reefs, North Horn and Osprey Reef, where individuals participate in shark dives, Potato Cod feeding and more.
