In 1992, after receiving a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Ithaca College, I spent a few years working with special populations; first in an intermediate care facility for mentally and/or physical challenged teens, then in a residential home for autistic children. In 1994, I returned to school, earned a Master’s Degree from Rowan University, and have remained immersed in the field of education ever since, working in the same district where I student-taught.
