I'm a visual professional. I've worked as a photo editor and as a user experience designer. I do photo research and rights acquisition at an expert level. I also have a rolodex of photographers all over the world, and feel confident in my abilities to illustrate stories where most others would come up empty. HTML, CSS, and jQuery are my friends and I've done some programming in Ruby on Rails. I enjoy the intersection of user research and journalism, and excel at creating sensible visual experiences on the web.
