Hi! My name is Shari - it's lovely to (virtually) meet you!I recently completed my 4th (aka Honours) year of a Bachelor of Psychological Science at Charles Darwin University. My thesis aimed to develop an understanding of what 'community' means to community-dwelling older adults in regional Australia. I also currently work providing 1:1 management of challenging behaviours to neurodivergent children (aged 4 - 12), supporting their participation in mainstream school. This role has been so rewarding and ultimately, has inspired my intentions to pursue a Master of Clinical Psychology. I hope to combine this passion with my study and gain registration to work as an endorsed psychologist with young children, both in and out of school settings.Outside of work I'm involved in acro and dance - you'll find me teaching a class, taking a class or running around backstage somewhere.If you have any industry advice or project knowledge to share, please don't hesitate to connect, I'd love to hear it!
