I founded T-Base Communications in 1994, following my personal experience of being unable to decipher everyday documents—monthly bills and bank statements—without assistance. I set out to ensure that corporations, governments and educators have the support required to ensure that their blind, deaf-blind, partially sighted and print restricted customers, employees, citizens and students receive important information in a form that can be readily accessed—securely and independently.T-Base provides organizations with alternate format communication materials to meet the diverse information needs of their aging, blind, deaf-blind and partially sighted customers.A deepened understanding and appreciation for the needs of our clients ensures that other industry leaders in the financial services, telecom and government organizations are positioned to best serve their customers.With over 30 years’ experience in the high-tech sector, my drive to make accessible materials available to the blind community resulted in the launch of T-Base communications locally in Ottawa, Canada, with a second production facility in New York.Specialties: The secure processing and production of accessible statements & documents in braille, large print, e-Text and audio.
