I currently lead a 9 member strong client dedicated-team and I am in-charge of delivering high-value high-quality reports along with handling client communication, project scoping, structuring and execution. My skills include includes working with multiple patent databases and patent related tools. My work centers around the following: prior art / patentability searches to identify patentable inventions, state of the art patent searches, Patent/Technology Analysis and Landscaping including trend analysis, Competitive intelligence studies, freedom to operate studies, Directed prosecution, licensing including preparing claim charts, IP Portfolio Management, litigation activities, patent monitoring and others. In my current role I also handle resource management, compliance, recruitment, induction and training.

During this assignment I was working from a client location where I worked closely with clients to understand their requirements and objectives. I then worked to design a solution that fit their need and honed problem identification and solving skills. This also included coordinating with the work team in India to ensure that the task was executed as required. I also took on task execution, quality review and delivery of the final reports. I would also present reports and address client questions/ concerns/ feedback as required.

Worked both autonomously and in teams on the entire spectrum of IP analytics projects like landscapes, prior art searches, patentability, competitive intelligence, FTOs, EoU charts and product searches. As a senior research associate I also learned project planning, cost and effort estimation, and independent handling of projects.
