I was responsible for formulating the brand and communications strategy for both organizations - MFV to establish it as a more mass appeal brand in eye health care and TCF to be seen as an experienced and established not-for-profit working with the local governments in Nigeria.For MFV, this included working on a website that is 'accessible' to the visually challenged stakeholders of the organisation. An extremely interesting and learning first for me! Working in tandem with the website would be the overall digital strategy that included social media, SEO, SEM.This responsibility was equally extended to TCF in Nigeria for creating different types of communication material for internal and external stakeholders.

As the Head of communications, my key responsibility was to formulate and implement the communication strategy towards building the brand Project Nanhi Kali and establishing it as the brand synonymous with girl child empowerment. Leveraging consumer insights, I worked out effective communications solutions to support the team's fund raising objectives. I worked very closely with multiple creative, web and audio-visual professionals and arrived at creative and effective communications material. I also closely monitored the online presence for the brand with support of a digital agency. In addition, I managed all the communication requirements of the other education initiatives like scholarships and grants, website, etc for KCMET.

As an Associate GM, I was responsible for implementing the communications strategy and plans with the support of a six-member team across all the priority geographies in India, UK, US and rest of the world. I worked closely with internal functions like resource generation, volunteer action, development support and HR, to understand their marketing and communications’ challenges and arrived at communications solutions. I also worked closely with external vendors like advertising and media agencies, web and audio-visual professionals and arrived at creative and effective communications material.A key aspect of the communication strategy was to ensure that the communications' team, the internal functions and the external agencies maintained brand synergies, guidelines and cross-learnings were followed across all regions. I also did workshops with appropriate resources for building capabilities of the communications team as well as the other functions in areas that aid strengthening/maintaining brand equity in all the forums, mediums they interact on with their stakeholders.

As a Business Development Consultant, I was responsible for marketing Collage Communication to potential clients and advertising agencies and generate business by way of producing films for them. I was responsible for farming our roster of creative film directors and production infrastructure to produce television advertising films and audio-visuals. I was also instrumental in identifying and building a wider roster of directors who would help in making the Collage offering more complete.
