Analysis for formaldehyde in air by extraction from organic vapour monitors (OVM) dosimeter badges and analysis by UV/VIS spectroscopy.Determination of oil in water (OIW) concentrations using a cold solvent extraction followed by UV/VIS spectroscopy. Duties also included the daily reporting and quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) of OIW data received from offshore natural gas platforms.Research and development of safe cleaning procedures for oxygen delivery and containment systems for an international medical gas supply company.
