I have more than 30 years experience in the community service sector. I have worked for 23 years in local government in various management and leadership roles. I am experienced in planning, implementing, managing and evaluating services. I have lead policy development programs, strategic planning activities and service reviews. I have prepared numerous tender responses; most noteworthy was the development of a tender for the first Victorian Inclusion Support Agency funding round. As the lead writer, this successful application was made in partnership with the two other municipalities. I have sound conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills which I developed through various roles and formal study. I have advanced written and oral communication skills, and I am adept at presenting and facilitating for various audiences.My practice experience includes Child Protection, Counselling, Family Support and Youth Services. My management experience includes the oversight of large and diverse teams in Family, Youth and Children’s Services, Aged and Disability Services, Municipal Emergency Recovery and Community Development. I have worked in both the public and not for profit sectors.I have a particular interests in leadership, management and social impact measurement.
