As a Licensing Coordinator at Next Insurance, I work from home and love my job. I am responsible for ensuring compliance with state regulations, maintaining licensing records, providing continuing education advisement and providing support to advocates. I also handle vendor audits as well as various other tasks as needed. Part of my responsibilities also include providing remote online notarization for my company. I use my communication and active listening skills to build rapport and trust with coworkers , and to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.Before joining Next Insurance, I worked at Root Inc. as a Licensing Specialist and a Claims Operations Supervisor. I gained valuable experience in the insurance industry handling various tasks while managing an operations team, and managing licensing requirements and processes. I also have a background in social work, having graduated with a BA from Mount Vernon Nazarene University and an associate's degree from North Central State College. I am passionate about helping people and making a positive impact in my community. Outside of work, I enjoy the freedom of my new empty nest, watching true crime documentaries, and whipping up fantastic meals.
