• Responsible for development & execution of all Florida Transmission Capital Projects totaling over $3.4B. This effort includes both Engineer Procure & Construct (EPC) Projects as well as internally designed bid/build work. In addition, my team is responsible for integrating over 700MW of Solar Projects in the next 4 years.• Leads FL Team of Project Managers & Work Management who schedule efforts for transmission maintenance (total of 105 employees & contract staff) • Justified and secured $800M additional funding for critical Transmission Projects in FL.• Developed & implemented Program Office for major transmission projects securing services of Burns & McDonnell. • Overall department has achieved Safety Performance of Zero/Zero for multiple years.

• Leads team of 23 multi-discipline engineers & techs responsible for the design & construction of 500kV - 13kV substations. Overall performance is 99% for on-time engineering milestone deliverables on approx. $270M of Transmission Projects annually.• Transmission’s Lead for enterprise-wide effort to reduce growth rate of Duke’s $ 2.3B Inventory & implementation of new control policy & procedures to achieve 92% utilization factor KPI for business unit. • Chaired Duke Energy’s enterprise-wide Substation Engineering Peer Team, which collaborated & provided direction on shared technical issues concerning the development of design packages.

• Lead all Residential & Commercial Demand Response Programs in both Carolinas & Florida, which totaled over 1, 700 MW of direct load control & a $ 60M annual budget.• Chaired North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC) DADS Committee for mandatory reporting of demand response (DR) through out North America to assess contribution of reliability to grid system. Member of Performance Analysis Subcommittee providing input on the 2012 State of Reliability Report for NERC. • Major business stakeholder providing review & input to Smart Grid Next Generation Demand Response Project Team for technical & regulatory compliance.• Elected Board Member of Association of Demand Response & Smart Grid (ADS)
