    Regional Manager Duties were:-•Led on the successful implementation, delivery and achievement of DWP / SFA contracts i.e. DWP / ESF “Range of Projects”, SFA / ESF “Skills for Jobs” and Response to Redundancy across Lancashire and Cumbria – with a combined value of £12 million;•Directly managed delivery centres in Blackpool, Fleetwood and Lancaster;•Provided management and direction across a number of additional delivery centres in Lancashire & Cumbria to enable each centre to meet its contractual and business objectives •Cascading detail of provider guidance implications to management and staff;•Establishing systems, processes and procedures to adhere to and meet contractual obligations – working alongside Quality Assurance teams;•Recruitment and development of staff;•Procurement and establishment of supply chains for end to end and specialist provision;•Manage and co-ordinate day-to-day direct project delivery across a number of delivery locations in the North West, through a team of managers; •Compilation of finance claims to funding agencies;•Responsible for planning and managing project budgets to profiles, ensuring achievement of revenue and surplus;•Establishing and maintaining management information for recording learner participation and activity;•Setting and agreeing targets with staff. Reviewing performance on a regular basis, taking action to ensure all targets achieved;•Leading all internal and external audits, including close working relationship with quality and compliance teams; •Direct liaison with funding bodies at local, regional & national level (LSC, JCP, RDA) – performance reviews, contract negotiation, audits etc;•Production of detailed, accurate performance reports to the Funding agencies•Production of detailed monthly performance reports to the Senior Management team•Subcontractor and direct delivery claim verification and authorisation;•Completion of project closures reports for ESF provision.
