After a successful career as a professional dancer in both ballet and theatre, Sharon found her next path and another way to express her love and joy of movement when she stepped in to an Ashtanga Yoga class back in 2000. Soon, she started teaching around the Atlanta metro area and her unique style of teaching began to unfold.In 2005, she moved from Atlanta to Telluride, Colorado where Sharon taught both Vinyasa and Ashtanga styles at Telluride Yoga Center (TYC) and later became a co-owner and studio manager from 2008 – 2011. She returns annually to Telluride as Yoga Presenter for the Telluride WOW (workout weekend) Festival.In 2011, Sharon moved to Aspen, Colorado where she was studio manager and Power Vinyasa instructor at O2 Aspen. She also taught Vinyasa at the Ritz-Carlton Aspen-Highlands as well as Hot Vinyasa in Basalt and Carbondale, CO. For two years straight, Sharon was honored to be an Ambassador for Lululemon Aspen.Sharon received her RYT-200 hour teacher certification with The White Lotus Foundation in Santa Barbara, CA. and completed CorePower’s Level 2 Teacher Intensive in Boulder, CO with Brandon Cox. Throughout the years, she has furthered her training and or studied under such notable teachers as Richard Freeman, David Swenson, Tim Miller, Annie Pace, and Beryl Bender Birch.After almost nine years in Colorado, she is excited to return home to Atlanta. With her passion to inspire others through movement and music and from her previous training, teachers and experiences, Sharon’s unique and uplifting “Liquid Flow” classes are a moving meditation in which she focuses on intelligent, fluid and dynamic sequencing that are creative and fun!
