Maintain a working knowledge of the operating rules and regulations for various card networks to ensure proper processing of all transactions in support of the Card Payments Operations portfolios, including but not limited to daily settlement and balancing, chargebacks, and rejected transactions from the processor. Accurately record accounting entries in accordance with GAAP and Truist accounting policy and maintain accurate documentation. Reconcile Card Payments Operations accounts to ensure all activity is processed in its entirety and cleared within established timeframes. Utilize internal and external systems to research, process, and clear all items, both current and outstanding, and complete all month end allocations in a timely manner to not hinder monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting.

Serve as second level support to Branch Helpline concerning BB&T debit and prepaid products. Work mailboxes from various departments with research requests. Receive inbound client calls about various issues for all types of accounts offered by BB&T. Ensure the security of client information and assist with minimizing bank losses by performing client verification on each call received. Maintenance accounts and service clients in timely and courteous manner.

Manage and maintain all cash ordering and account reconciling associated with remote ATM accounting. Function as initial point of contact in receiving vendor requests for problem resolution. Establish processes to ensure high quality results Support ATM/GL account reconcilement Coordinate efforts with ATM Support to aid with ATM Hardware issues.

Participate in daily operational function of branch by being responsible for delivery of superior quality service while adhering to corporate, regulatory, and audit guidelines. Provide timely and efficient completion of client transactions while maintaining accurate records and proper handling of all monies assigned. Perform basic transactions of a paying and receiving teller including accepting deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, cashing checks within limits and obtaining further authorization when necessary, issuing money orders, cashier’s checks, and redeeming savings bonds. Prepare individual daily balance of cash transactions as well as other reports as necessary. Maintain 2 cash drawers while serving as Commercial Teller, back-up to Vault Teller, and Teller Supervisor.
