I was born in Oklahoma and currently reside near Stillwater, Oklahoma. I earned my degree in Elementary Education at OSU and taught for several years before starting and managing my own business. I have owned and managed a Health and Life insurance agency for 13 years. I have volunteered in the area of Disaster Search and Rescue for 12 years training Live Find Disaster Search and Rescue Dogs and working as Training Coordinator for the Kansas Emergency Services. I also volunteered training Service Dogs and Veterans for 6 years and now work for American Humane raising puppies, placing them with veterans and then teaching the veterans how to handle the dog, continuing their training until they become a fully functioning Service Dog Team.
