Recalibrating sometimes quite academic books into a reader friendly narrative style, while staying true to the facts, has developed a real story-telling feel across our non-fiction titles, allowing BigSky to document areas of history, or stories of inspiration that may never have been recognised. This narrative style approach connects with stories across genres.BigSky has published titles in Memoirs, True Crime, Self-help, Autobiography, Business, Environment, Health & Wellbeing and Inspiration genres. Our titles take the reader off the couch and into the story, viewing firsthand through the eyes of those that where there. The children’s division have tackled themes of mindfulness, acceptance, death and aging, environment and inspiration. Junior fiction titles capture even the most reluctant readers imagination. Series from across the genres offer fun and entertainment with some underlying ‘new knowledge’ loaded in. Learning about our past or how to deal with social issues while trapped with a sci-fi, time travelling detective is always fun. We are fortunate to work with authors to develop stories that navigate international concerns of diversity, imagination, mindfulness.
