This is a really challenging role and sits perfectly within my skill set as I get to liaise internally with both Client Services and with the Client directly to ensure that we are meeting the needs of their business. The objective of the role is to work alongside Client Services to identify key functionality within the new platform that can be delivered as an “added benefit” ensuring that it is fit for purpose. Working alongside the web teams and IT solutions teams, we ensure that we are providing the best services to our key clients. Woking closely with product stakeholders including; clients, end users, vendors, sales staff, product management staff, technology and development staff, client management to plan, launch and implement product on time, on budget and according to requirements and specifications. Responsible for the coordination of products through their lifecycle assisting from strategic definition to end of life planning.

With an enthusiastic approach and keen to meet all deadlines, this role requires excellent planning and organisation skills as well as a high level of communication skills meeting various audiences and background of skill sets. I have recently worked alongside Project Managers on additional migrations within a Business Solutions role providing experience and support in providing business requirements.

Ensuring clients are serviced in accordance with contractual arrangements and within strict SLAs. The highest level of account support is required working closely with department managers and director levels both internally and externally. One of my main accounts I managed were clients such as Hearst Magazines (Good Housekeeping / She / Zest) and VNU with marketing/acquisitions/renewals and finance teams ensuring the best possible service is adhered to. It is imperative within this role that a professional relationship is maintained and the best possible service is delivered. Managing a team of client services executives, we pride ourselves on an exceptional service based on client’s expectations, delivering above and beyond at all times.

The role I commenced at McKenzie-Thorpe was a receptionist. However, using my proactive approach, I quickly climbed the ladder within the company to a Marketing Executive. Liaising with the Training Directors and Sales Teams, I quickly became involved in all elements of the marketing plan, from liaising with suppliers, pulling together sales material, making contact with potential sales leads and following them through to appointments. After 10 years, I was made redundant, hence moving to CDS for a career in subscription fulfilment.
