1. Leading the JCA Key Acceptance into Service Area for QE Class Integration (i.e. Ensuring Aircraft/Ship Integration).2. Developing and Managing the Satisfactory Arguments (SATARGS) to ensure JCA can operate from the QE Class ships and can be maintained on the QE Class and that JCA can operate from other maritime platforms. (Satisfactory Arguments are the body of evidence to ensure that a User Requirement is met. The process of managing SATARGS involves technical and administrative investigation into Industry / American Department of Defence processes and subsequently ensuring that activity is identified and progressed to mitigate UK deltas.)3. Development of an Acceptance Strategy, Acceptance Plan and Integrated Verification and Assurance Matrix to achieve Initial Operating Capability Maritime (IOC(M) for JCA. (IOC(M) is a key operating capability milestone for the aircraft and UK Defence.)4. Leading and Managing bi-lateral R+D (£55M) into a Shipborne Rolling Vertical Landing (SRVL) Manouevre and Flight Envelope for JCA to support a UK specific Defence User Requirement. (SRVL is a completely new manoeuvre for the aircraft to perform when recovering to the QE Class ship).5. Responsible for sentencing and tracking technical assumptions to minimise Aircraft/Ship Integration issues.6. Responsible for managing MOD Commercial Activity to support a $115M contract, between UK MOD and American contractor, that burns down JCA - QE Class Ship Integration issues/risk and is used to drive design changes in the ship.7. Project Manager for independent contractor work to de-risk SRVL (£0.5M Contract).
