Retail is in my blood! From my first job as a sales associate in high school, every position I’ve held in my career has been in the fast-paced and ever-changing retail industry that is my passion. My work is also my hobby. I am requiring of myself and take great satisfaction in seeing tangible results from the work I do. Given any challenge, I will take action and implement a solution. Simply put, I get things done!I have held successive leadership roles in merchandising, planning, operations, supply chain, logistics and vendor compliance during my career, and have unique knowledge of most touch points in the lifecycle from product inception to end retail consumer. This unique experience has made me an SME and ‘go to’ person on many topics. I am a numbers geek. I’m happiest when I have time to mine and interpret data to find the story it’s telling me and be able to take appropriate action. Whether the data is telling me when to markdown a product, or when to flow receipts based on demand or space, or how to improve on-time metrics to increase sales, I have a proven track record of making high-quality decisions.I have been a key leader in many enterprise cross-functional initiatives at a high growth retailer. Some highlights include implementation of Planning and Allocation systems, building Direct Sourcing function, outsourcing Transportation functions, optimizing Distribution Center functions, and successful opening of a new Distribution Center. People matter to me. I lead by example and have a successful track record of developing my team members. I am so fortunate to have been able to continue growing and learning in the retail landscape by contributing in varied roles during the course of my career!
