Moving to New Zealand in 2014 with a Masters in Clinical Psychology and a passion for research I have worked at the School of Medicine at Otago University as a research assistant and more recently as a contract researcher for The Collaborative Trust. I am passionate about child and youth well being, mental well being, parenting and multicultural perspectives on holistic health. I am currently researching the impact of digital media on child and youth development, the positives and negatives of engaging with new technologies and how best to navigate them. I am continuing my journey in learning about biculturism in New Zealand through quarterly sessions in Te Reo and tikanga run through the Collaborative Trust and by completing two levels in basic Te Reo through community classes.
