Measurement Inc. contracts with educational consortiums and many states throughout the United States. The work I do involves working with assessments of students' academic achievements. My job has included reading essays written by middle and high school students, evaluating young non-native English speakers' listening and speaking proficiencies, and scoring middle and high school math achievement tests that evaluate critical thinking and knowledge of mathematical concepts.

Coordinated "CourseWorks" program with university professors. The program produced texts printed by Kinkos for use at an adjoining regional Tennessee university.

I coordinated a federal grant funded program for low income and/or disabled students. I trained and supervised tutors and led workships on study skills and stress management.

I recruited and counseled prospective students individually and through college fairs and high school presentations. I coordinated on-campus informational workshops for prospective students. I advised an organization for students who were older than traditional college age. I edited the college newsletter. I coordinated student services for the college's program at a correctional institution.
